overview
The aim of the presentation is to provide adequate knowledge for you to confidently accept referrals for clients with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and provide therapy that is useful and helpful. An understanding of menopause is critical given its direct association with mental health. Sharryn works from a feminist perspective in her clinical work and teachings, sensitively respecting the issues and struggles pertinent to women’s mental and overall health.

About the presenter
Sharryn Muir is the founding co-director of Northern Psychology Centre, a private practice established 21 years ago in Melbourne. She has an interest in all aspects of women’s health. Sharryn has lived experience with PMDD and a treacherous menopause. She has a wealth of knowledge, personal anecdotes and clinical experience to share. She is a Member the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and a Psychology Board of Australia approved Supervisor.
